Division 1
Patrick Keighran (Serra, 2021) – Recorded his first college career home run in San Francisco’s 7-3 win over Villanova. San Francisco (6-2, 0-0) swept Villanova in a weekend series.
Reed Moring (Aptos, 2022) – Pitched 7 innings, allowing 0 runs on 3 hits and 3 walks while picking up his second win of the season in UC Santa Barbara’s 5-1 win on Sunday. Moring is now 2-0 and has dropped his ERA to 1.62 in 16.2 innings pitched this season.
Tommy Troy (Los Gatos, 2020) – Continued his hot start to the season by going 6-9 with a double, a triple, 2 RBI, and 4 runs scored in games against Pacific and Cal State Bakersfield. The Stanford 3rd baseman is now hitting .417 with an OBP of .553 and SLUG of .750 (1.303 OPS) in 9 games this season for the Cardinal.
Aaron Parker (Los Altos, 2021) – Went 4-8 with 2 HR’s and 2 2B’s in UC Santa Barbara’s weekend series win vs. Xavier. Parker now has 4 HR’s in his last 4 games to lead the Gauchos (7-3, 0-0) in that category. He boosts his season average to .346 and holds an OPS of 1.278.
Division 2
Dylan Day (Santa Rosa, 2020) – Threw 7 innings allowing 1 run (0 earned) on 3 hits and no walks while striking out 5 in Chico State’s 7-1 win over Stanislaus State. The outing lowers his ERA to 2.89 for the season in 18.2 innings pitched. He has struck out 14 and walked only 4.
Division 3
Lou Martineau (Burlingame, 2022) – Had his multi-hit game streak snapped at 6 games. Over the span he went 12-23 with 3 2B’s, 3 RBI, and 9 runs scored. Martineau currently leads the Occidental Tigers in hitting (.377) and on base percentage (.494) in 77 plate appearances.
JC Ng (Menlo, 2021) – Added two more home runs to his season total (4) and 6 more RBI (13) over the weekend against Claremont Mudd-Scripps and Whitman. He is now hitting .322 with an OPS of 1.043. Ng has also reached base in every game this season for Pomona-Pitzer, pushing his on base streak to 15 games.
Tyler Shaw (Serra, 2020) – Went 8-14 with 3 2B’s and 3 RBI in Claremont Mudd-Scripps’s weekend series sweep of Pomona-Pitzer. His hitting streak now sits at 6 games and he has reached base in all 15 games this season. On the season Shaw is hitting .379.
Junior College
Dane Anderson (San Mateo, 2021) – Went 5-9 with a home run, 6 RBI, and scored 5 times over three games for Skyline. He is now hitting .366 with 2 home runs and has also stolen 8 bases in 15 games for the Trojans.
DJ Ghiorso (Serra, 2021) – Had 8 hits in 13 at bats for Santa Barbara City, including 2 doubles. He boosts his average to .364 on the season and leads the Vaqueros in HR’s (3, including a walk-off), RBI (17), 2B’s (5), SLUG (.618) and OPS (1.062) in 15 games.
Caovinh Nguyen (Mission San Jose, 2022) – Hit his 2nd HR of the season in Ohlone’s 12-2 win over San Mateo.
Justin Tapia (Sacred Heart Cathedral, 2022) – Drove in 7 runs in three games and also scored 5 times for Skyline. Went 5-8 at the plate and walked 3 times to boost his average to .370 for the season.
Brady Wetzel (California, 2022) – Went 6-13 with a double in 3 games for Chabot. He boosted his average to .353 for the season.
