Lucas Erceg/Paul Blackburn (Oakland Athletics) – After making his MLB Debut last week, Erceg picked up his first MLB win on Memorial Day against the Atlanta Braves throwing 3 innings in relief, allowing no baserunners, and striking out 4. He relieved fellow CCB alum Paul Blackburn who made his return from the injured list throwing 4 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits and 2 walks, while striking out 6. The efforts from the pair led the A’s to a 7-2 victory over the Braves and ended Oakland’s 11 game losing streak. Erceg First MLB Win – Full Story 

Division 1

Luke Keaschall (Aptos, 2020) – Homered for the 18^th time this season for Arizona State (32-23, 16-13) and went 4-9 in the PAC-12 tournament against Arizona and #18 Oregon State. The Sun Devils were unfortunately left on the bubble for the NCAA tournament and will not be participating in the postseason. Keaschall finishes the season hitting .353 and led the team in HR’s (18), 2B’s (25), SLUG (.725), .OPS (1.168) and SB’s (18-20). He was also second on the team in RBI (58), which was one off his teammate Jacob Tobias. Luke started all 55 games for the Sun Devils this season.

Josh Mollerus (Bellarmine, 2018) – Picked up the win for #24 Oregon (37-20, 16-14) by throwing 2.2 shutout innings and striking out 4 against #6 Stanford in the PAC-12 tournament on Friday. Oregon will play as the 2 seed in the Nashville Regional at Vanderbilt.

Aaron Parker (Los Altos, 2021) – Went 4-11 in UC Santa Barbara’s (35-20, 18-12) series at Hawaii. Like Arizona State, UC Santa Barbara was also left on the bubble. Parker finishes the season hitting .321 with 10 HR’s and 32 RBI in 50 games. He was second on the team in hits (60) trailing only fellow CCB alum Zander Darby (62).

Tommy Troy (Los Gatos, 2020) – Hit his 14^th home run of the season in #6 Stanford’s (38-16, 23-7) PAC-12 tournament loss to Arizona on Friday. Tommy enters the NCAA Regionals hitting .394 with an .OPS of 1.180.
