Tri County Red Sox Win Inaugural CCB North/South Invitational

SAN FRANCISCO – The Tri-County Red Sox defeated NorcalU Cardinal 2-0 in Sunday afternoon’s final at the University of San Francisco. Both runs were scored on a Conner Barth (Oregon State) 2-run home run in the 1st inning. David Roberts (Arizona State) threw 4.1 scoreless innings before handing the ball to Jordy Lopez (Cal) for the final 2.2 innings to pick up the save. 

Earlier in the day, Tri-County defeated the CBA Marlins 6-3 in the semifinal.

This was an excellent weekend of competitive baseball. All games were closely contested and there was an immense amount of talent of the field from all teams. Here is a tournament summary:
